offer provide 區(qū)別是什么

　　offer和provide都有“提供”的意思，但有所區(qū)別。offer通常用來表示主動提供某物，常用于offer sb. sth. 或 offer sth. to sb. 結構中。provide常用來表示提供需要或有用的東西，常用于provide sb. with sth.或provide sth. for sb. 結構中。

　　一、offer “主動提出;自愿給予”

　　offer to do sth.， “主動提出做某事”;

　　offer sb. sth.= offer sth.to sb.“提供給某人某物”。

　　若offer后面所接的直接賓語為代詞時，只能用offer sth.to sb.結構。

　　She offered me a cup of tea.

　　= She offered a cup of tea to me.

　　二、provide 為做好準備而“提供;供給”

　　provide sb. with sth.= provide sth. for sb.

　　Our government provides the students with free books.

　　= Our government provides free books for the students.
